Multiple offence suspect Anymore Zvitsva is expected back in court on Wednesday for sentencing after he was convicted last week on 10 counts of robbery, rape and attempted murder.
Zvitsva appeared before Harare regional magistrate Francis Mapfumo where he pleaded guilty to all the charges and accepted the circumstances presented by the State.

The charges include five counts of attempted murder, four counts of rape and one count of robbery arising from separate incidents that occurred in Raffingora and Guruve last year.
During court proceedings, prosecutors outlined details of one of the incidents involving complainant Providence Maruza, aged 27. The court heard that on October 9 last year, Maruza was asleep in her room at Ditwi Village, Chiwe Farm, Raffingora, when Zvitsva entered the house through an unlocked door.
According to the facts presented in court, Zvitsva was armed with an Okapi knife and snare wire. He allegedly threatened to kill Maruza if she screamed before tying her hands and legs with wire. He then dragged her towards a thicket in the Dangemuri Mountains area where he raped her once.
The court further heard that after the assault, Zvitsva stabbed Maruza once on the back and once on the neck before leaving the scene. Details presented in court indicated that the complainant survived the attack.
In another case presented before the court, prosecutors said on October 27 Zvitsva, while armed with a machete, went to the homestead of Reginet Sango at Mudhindo Village under Chief Bepura in Kachuta, Guruve.
The court heard that Sango, aged 62, had been fetching water from a local borehole when Zvitsva confronted her and allegedly demanded sexual intercourse. Prosecutors said Sango attempted to flee into nearby bushes but was pursued by the accused.
Court proceedings revealed that Zvitsva allegedly struck Sango once on the head and once on the left arm with a machete, causing her to fall. Prosecutors said he then raped her before strangling her with wire around the neck and leaving her unconscious at the scene.
The court also heard that on the same day, Zvitsva allegedly attacked Brian Ngoshi while he was walking home from Kachuta Business Centre. Prosecutors said the accused struck Ngoshi twice on the head with a machete before strangling him with wire until he lost consciousness.
After the assault, Zvitsva allegedly searched Ngoshi and stole a cigarette lighter and a packet of Madison cigarettes before leaving him unconscious on the roadside. The court heard that a passerby later assisted Ngoshi and alerted his aunt.
Zvitsva is expected to return to court on Wednesday when magistrate Mapfumo is scheduled to deliver sentence following the guilty plea and conviction on all counts.
