BREAKING:

A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh has become a major attraction after gaining attention for its resemblance to former United States President Donald Trump.

The buffalo, nicknamed “Donald Trump,” has gone viral on social media because of the tuft of pale hair falling across its forehead, which many visitors say closely resembles Trump’s well-known hairstyle.

The nearly 700-kilogram buffalo is being raised at a farm in Narayanganj district near Dhaka. The animal has attracted large crowds in recent weeks, with visitors travelling from different parts of Bangladesh to take photos and videos.

Farm owner Ziauddin Mridha said the buffalo was named by his younger brother because of the similarity between the animal’s hairstyle and Trump’s appearance.

“My younger brother named the buffalo Donald Trump because the hair on the front of its head resembles Donald Trump,” Mridha said.

Mridha explained that despite its unusual appearance and large size, the buffalo has a calm temperament. He said albino buffaloes are generally gentle animals unless provoked.

“Despite its striking appearance, it is very calm by nature. It is an albino buffalo, and animals of this type are generally gentle and do not become aggressive unless provoked,” he said.

The buffalo receives special care at the farm as workers regularly wash and groom it. According to Mridha, the animal is bathed four times every day and fed four meals daily to keep it healthy.

During one grooming session, workers were seen pouring buckets of water over the buffalo’s head while brushing its pale hair, which sits between its curved horns.

“The only luxury he enjoys is bathing four times a day,” Mridha said, adding that the similarities between the buffalo and Trump end with the hairstyle.

The animal has become one of the most popular attractions at the farm ahead of Eid al-Adha, a period when millions of livestock animals are prepared for sacrifice across Bangladesh.

Mridha confirmed that the buffalo had already been sold to a customer for sacrifice during Eid celebrations. He said the animal required extra care and attention in preparation for the occasion.

According to AFP, more than 12 million animals, including goats, sheep, cows and buffaloes, are expected to be sacrificed during Eid al-Adha in Bangladesh.

The “Donald Trump” buffalo is not the only animal at the farm with a memorable nickname. Other animals include an aggressive bull named “Tufan,” which means storm, a heavily built animal called “Fat Boy,” and another calm bull known as “Sweet Boy.”

The farm also has a golden-haired bull named after Brazilian football star Neymar because of its blond hairstyle, which resembles the football player’s well-known hair colour.

The viral buffalo continues to attract attention online and at the farm, with many visitors stopping by to see the unusual animal before Eid celebrations begin.
